Drop a theme in and look at it
Upload a package and it is checked and rendered against sample stories, in every language it claims. You need no account, no publication and no version number. Nothing is stored, nothing is published, and the preview deletes itself after 30 minutes.
Sample content, not a real site
Every page is drawn with made up stories, categories and authors, so you can judge a design before anyone has a publication to point it at.
The same check as a real upload
Files, manifest, template syntax, missing snippets and a strict render of every page in every language you claim. What passes here passes in the dashboard.
Nothing is kept
No account, no database record, no publication. The package sits in a temporary folder and is deleted when the 30 minutes are up.
Handing it to a client?
When the design is right, they upload the same zip under Custom theme in their dashboard, preview it against their own publication, and activate it when they are ready.
